Apps for Smartphones & Tablets

More and more brands, companies and media in the most diverse sectors are working with mobile applications (the so-called apps). This gives everyone, with the help of a Smartphone, access to 1001 online services and content.

Are the apps for iPhones and other Smartphones the new media hype? One thing is for certain: now that the number of Belgian Smartphone users is on the rise, these apps are becoming much more than simply a trend.

The Ring Ring Company already has numerous references in this field. Our sales team will guide you in the development of your mobile applications.

Before you launch your apps project, you should consider
the following points:

Which services do i offer?

Actually, it’s rather obvious: you look for THE idea, a useful and local service that stands out among the stream of new apps. (One handy way is a lighter version of your website). Ideally, it is the apps that make the user’s life more pleasant (services, games, coaching, sport, cooking, … there’s choice enough).

Which platform should I choose?

Apple’s iPhone is the Smartphone that is best known for its apps. Given its success, it’s logical to launch your own app on this platform.

However, you can hold back other trump cards… Android, Google Phones’ service platform, is a player with a lot of potential. BlackBerry, with its AppWorld, is very popular among professionals. And then there are Microsoft (Store for Windows Phones), Nokia and its recent strategic partnership with Microsoft and Samsung (Application Store). Every manufacturer is focusing on this promising growth market.

Should I offer my app free of charge or as a paid download?

The latter naturally, is probably your initial thought. And yet… If you do offer your apps – at least for an initial period and in a basic version – free of charge, users can test them out straight away and get to know you better. You can always develop a paid version 2.0 later on.
